Array Technologies Ships 26 MW to Corcoran, CA
Kings County project located in the San Joaquin Valley
Albuquerque, NM – 4/8/13 – Array Technologies has finished shipping a 26 MWdc DuraTrack™ HZ system to Corcoran, CA, in the San Joaquin Valley. Constructed by engineering procurement and construction company Quanta Power Generation, the energy generated by the site will be purchased by Pacific Gas & Electric for the lifetime of the project.
The DuraTrack™ HZ system was selected for the project as it maximizes land cover within irregular site boundaries and can be installed on undulating terrain without extensive grading or foundations required. The tracker’s articulating driveline design makes it uniquely adaptable to almost any terrain, and its durability is only matched by its reliable operation and robust performance. With over 1 GW of DuraTrack™ HZ trackers shipped worldwide, Array Technologies offers cutting-edge tracking and racking solutions as well as proven bankability backed by over two decades of field experience.
Owned by Consolidated Edison Development, the Corcoran solar site follows a wave of booming PV development in the fertile San Joaquin Valley, home to many of the largest agricultural operations in the U.S.
